5-day Course: Sketching and Painting Watercolours ‘En Plein Aire’

This is a week-long course over 5 days.
This course will familiarise participants with en plein air sketching and painting as they capture scenes in Aylesbury market square and down at the canal. Participants will then have time in the QPAC art studio to use their inspiration and sketches as reference for creating finalised artworks in watercolour. Paul will provide assistance on perspective, colour and figures in the final compositions.
What to bring:
There are some supplies at QPAC that can be used, however it is recommended that you bring your own watercolour paints and brushes if you have as you can get comfortable with materials you will then have beyond the course. QPAC also sells watercolour paints, brushes and papers from our Art Shop at reception. You may want to bring your own portable, folding stool if you have one.
