The World of Gilbert and Sullivan
There will be a real treat for G&S lovers in the East Norfolk area when 'The Wandering Minstrels' (www.wanderingminstrels.org.uk) stage 'THE WORLD OF GILBERT AND SULLIVAN' in St. Catherine's Church, Ludham on Saturday 6 June at 7.30pm. This will be their third visit to Ludham. Artistes taking part in this concert are Helen Winter, Emma Stratton, Charles Mills, Bruce Graham and Tim Hurst-Brown, with Peter Hewitt at the piano. They will sing, act and dance their way through excerpts from 'The Pirates of Penzance', 'The Gondoliers', 'Trial by Jury', 'The Mikado', 'Ruddigore', 'Princess Ida', 'Utopia, Limited', 'The Grand Duke' and 'HMS Pinafore'. The company will perform in period costume and the excerpts will be staged in traditional style. Don't miss what promises to be a delightful evening!
