Forbidden Planet Norwich launch
National retailer Forbidden Planet - which specialises in comics, collectables, trading cards and blind boxes - is opening its doors in Norwich on Free Comic Book Day with giveaways galore.
The new store opens at 10am (queue from 8am) with a super hero ribbon cutting ceremony and the first 100 people through the door will each receive an exclusive Forbidden Planet goody bag. Cosplay is encouraged, with every dressed up shopper receiving a storewide discount. A prize of a £100 gift voucher will be presented to the best dressed cosplayer.
Covering almost 2,500 sq ft, the store will bring an unrivalled selection of pop culture merchandise to Norwich, including new and back catalogue comic books, graphic novels, manga, collectibles, trading cards, action figures, games and exclusive items from some of the world’s biggest entertainment franchises.
Popular brands filling the shelves include Smsikis, Sonny Angels, Marvel, Bandai, Star Wars, Funko Pops, Labubu, Loungefly bags, Doctor Who, Gundam, Pokémon and POPMART.
