Guide Dogs Fundraiser with live music returns to Whiteley this weekend

Whiteley is set to host a vibrant day of live music and community spirit this Saturday (25th April), as it welcomes back a special fundraising event in support of Guide Dogs.
Taking place at the Whiteley Stage, the free event will feature a full line-up of live acapella, folk and contemporary performances from local bands and community groups. There will also be a dedicated Guide Dogs stand raising funds and awareness for the charity’s life-changing work.
Visitors are invited to enjoy a fantastic day out with friends and family, while supporting Guide Dogs and learning more about how the organisation helps people with sight loss live independently.
The event will run throughout the day, with performances from:
• The Steam Town Shanty Crew (11:00 – 11:45)
• The D’Ukes of Hayling (12:00 – 12:45)
• Sing 4 Wellbeing Choir (13:00 – 13:45)
• The Plastic Shamrocks (14:00 – 14:45)
• The Rambling Dooburys (15:00 – 15:35)
Throughout the day, visitors will be able to meet guide dogs and their owners to learn more about the charity’s work, make a donation, and see puppies in training with their dedicated raisers.
