This is the first improv group that Hoopla’s Director (Steve Roe) ever saw, plus the first ever improv company he trained with (teachers John Cremer and Katy Schutte)!
Established in 2004, The Mayday were one of the first companies to bring US Chicago style long-form to the UK and have been hugely influential to Hoopla and the wider UK improv scene. It’s a pleasure to have them at Hoopla’s 20th Anniversary Festival!
