This little watermill in an idyllic setting is open for the day, free of charge. There's a 19th century waterwheel which will be turning provided there is enough water in the stream, and inside is the
massive machinery , gears and millstones that were used to grind wheat and other cereals for humans and for animals. There will be people on site to explain to visitors about the mill, its machinery and history.
To find the mill take the minor raod from Neenton signposted Wrickton until you get to the T juction.Turn right there.The drive to the mill is on mill the right after 100 yards. Grid Ref SO 642858.
Whilst there ask about Charlcotte Furnace very close by which can be visited this day, and another interesting mill, Eudon Mill, not far off which will also be open - it's National Mills weekend.
