Brentwood’s Biggest Coffee Morning at The Baytree Shopping Centre
The Baytree Shopping Centre is proud to be partnering with Saint Francis Hospice to bring Brentwood’s biggest ever Coffee Morning to the heart of Brentwood this May, raising vital funds to support local people and families who rely on hospice care.
Taking place on Friday 15th and Saturday 16th May from 10am–3pm, this special community event will be hosted inside the centre next to Gadget Solutions. Visitors are invited to enjoy tea, coffee and delicious cakes in exchange for a donation, with huge thanks to the Guided Learning team for kindly donating refreshments for the event.
The event promises a warm and welcoming atmosphere where friends, families and shoppers can come together, connect and support an important local cause. Every donation and every cup of coffee will help make a real difference within the community. Mayor, Cllr Jay Laplain, and the Mayoress, Mrs Vanessa Laplain, will also attend on Friday 15th May in support of the initiative.
There will be plenty happening across the two days, including appearances from Frankie the Lion, the beloved mascot of Saint Francis Hospice, who will be meeting visitors and posing for photos throughout the event.
Guided Learning will also host a charity colouring competition, with entry priced at just £1 per child. Children can collect their colouring sheet on Friday and return it on Monday for the chance to win a £25 voucher for either Sports Direct or The Works.
Friday’s line-up will include an ice cream cart available for a small donation, alongside a special lunchtime appearance from Andy Ryan.
On Saturday, the celebrations continue with fresh donuts available for a donation, alongside the centre’s popular Local Artisan Market running until 4pm, where visitors can browse independent traders offering crocheted items, handmade gifts and cards, sweet treats, vintage clothing and more.
