Here's how you can move into a new home in Wiltshire this Summer

A Wiltshire housebuilder is hosting a special event to help homebuyers in the region secure their move this summer.

House hunters in Wiltshire looking to move in 2026 are invited to Barratt’s Platinum Place development, in Hilperton on Saturday 9 May from 11am-3pm, where they can look around a selection of ready-to-move-in properties.

The popular development offers a range of two, three, and four-bedroom homes, and with easy connections to Bath and Bristol, Platinum Place has already proven popular with commuters.

On the day, visitors will be able to speak to Sales Advisers who will be available to offer expert advice and provide further information on how to climb the property ladder. Guests can also expect complimentary pizza and refreshments as they browse the development’s show homes.

Richard Lawson, Sales Director for Barratt Bristol, said: “Platinum Place has had a huge amount of interest from commuters and growing families, with a great range of schools and Trowbridge train station just around the corner. We expect these homes to be snapped up quickly.

“Buying a house can be complicated and time consuming, so we want to help future homebuyers find their dream property quickly and with less hassle. Just add your own furniture and soft furnishings, and you can simply move into one of our ready-to-move-into homes for summer!

“We would like to invite anyone considering living in Wiltshire to join us at our open day to experience firsthand what life at Platinum Place could offer.”

One of the homes available is the Maidstone, available from £319,995. This three-bedroom property offers an open-plan kitchen and dining area with a separate lounge that creates a cosy haven for those family movie nights.

Upstairs features three bedrooms, catering for the needs of every family member, with the main bedroom boasting an ensuite.
