Bore Place's 50th Birthday Spotter Trail

50 things to find ~ 50 years to celebrate!

Join us for the Bore Place Birthday Spotter Trail: a self-led adventure designed for families with young children, with 50 things to find across the woodlands, fields and grounds. From bees and beetles to compost heaps and muddy puddles, it's a chance to explore this special place and discover what makes it so unique.

Pick up your spotter sheet at the welcome briefing, then head off at your own pace. Bring a picnic and when you're done exploring, find a spot to enjoy your lunch and let your children loose in our play area. There's no rush and no finish line - stay and enjoy the site for as long as you like. Every child who takes part will receive a citizen scientist sticker - because that's exactly what you'll be today: exploring, observing and discovering the natural world.

Who is it for?
This event is designed with young children (up to age 10) in mind, but older siblings and curious grown-ups are very welcome to join in too.
