Drop-in Activity: Brilliant Brains

Come and learn about your brain, what it looks like, how it works and why it's so important.
Get involved and decorate your own anatomical brain. Will it be anatomically accurate, or a multi-coloured work of art?

Meet the scientist:

Jennifer Paxton (BSc, Msc, PhD, FAS) is a Senior Lecturer and Deputy Head of Anatomy at the University of Edinburgh. When she isn't teaching the complexities of the human body, or researching ways to build new body parts, she enjoys inspiring the next generation of scientists through her children's anatomy books and interactive outreach events.

All ages welcome

As well as the drop-in activity, the Physicians’ Gallery has a children’s medical library, colouring-in, worksheets and a dressing-up station available every day.
