Join us for our fifth annual evening of performance, art and celebration in collaboration with Chichester Pride, a volunteer led organisation created to support the local LGBTQIA+ community and its allies. This event is very popular so book early to avoid disappointment.
Enjoy free access to the galleries and the latest exhibition British Landscapes: A Sense of Place accompanied by exciting creative activities, tours and, from 7pm, an incredible line-up of entertainment in the courtyard.
At 6pm, you can also join Mollie Barnes and Gemma Rolls-Bentley, co-authors of Queer Art, for an in-conversation with Simon Martin, Director of Pallant House Gallery (talk separately ticketed).
Queer Art brings together a wide range of LGBTQIA+ artists, tracing their work from the 19th century to today. Covering different generations and places, the book offers an engaging look at queer visual culture and the many ways artists have expressed identity and experience, beyond simple or stereotypical ideas of what “queer art” is.
We are very pleased that this year’s event is a part of the Festival of Chichester, an annual month-long celebration of the arts taking place from 13 June – 19 July.
