Step Inside Chevening: Exclusive Summer Fête for Hospice in the Weald
Enjoy a rare opportunity to explore the beautiful private gardens of Chevening House, near Sevenoaks, at a special Summer Fête hosted by Hospice in the Weald.
The exclusive event, which takes place from 12-5pm on Monday 31st August, offers visitors rare access to one of Kent’s most historic and picturesque private estates, while helping to raise vital funds for Hospice in the Weald.
The stunning pleasure grounds of the Earls Stanhope, today run by the Chevening Trust without reliance on public funding, are characterised by lawns and wooded walks around an ornamental lake.
With live music and family friendly garden games, guests are invited to bring a picnic to make the most of the afternoon.
There will be artisan stalls offering goods from local makers and producers, along with a host of delicious refreshments available, including local ice cream and a Pimm's tent.
All proceeds raised go directly to Hospice in the Weald, which provides free care and support to those facing life-limiting illness when they need it most.
Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome and there is ample free parking available on site.
Advance tickets are £12.50 for adults, £2.50 for children over five, and £25 for a family ticket. To book, visit hospiceintheweald.org.uk
