Following their recent standing ovation performances of Handel's Messiah (December 2025) and Dvorák's Stabat Mater (April 2026) Cantata are proud to present a work of a completely different character.
Neither small nor solemn but full of drama, pathos, colour and intensity, Gioachino Rossini's Petite Messe Solennelle is a unique piece of work that blends dramatic, operatic style sacred music with profound emotion and unashamed romanticism.
