Australian-born pianist Lin Xu-Zhang is a striking and engaging young performer with a distinctive style and wide musical tastes. As one of around 50 performances in his current UK and international concert season, Lin brings to his recital in Epsom a characteristically eclectic programme. There is a work written just a few years ago by Stephen Hough, compositions by Chopin and Haydn and music of the 16th & 17th Century English keyboard masters Byrd and Gibbons.
