Evangeline

A one-hour, one-man musical that traces the rollercoaster story of a showbiz survivor. Guy Brigg plays Evangeline and everyone else in this new work by Nia Williams, brought to the stage by multi-award-winning theatre company Three Chairs and a Hat. From her discovery in a cardboard box and the rigours of life as a child performer, to West End success, struggles with addiction and a controlling relationship and a dramatic act of self-sabotage, Evangeline takes us on a quest to find her real voice and face the future with confidence. After successful runs at the Burton-Taylor Theatre in Oxford and The Lantern Theatre as part of the Brighton Fringe, Evangeline comes to lively café/bar/theatre The Glitch in a vibrant area of Waterloo — for two performances only!
