Vikings at the Priory 'What is your Treasure?' schools performance
As part of a month-long programme of action-packed, family-friendly events in and around Leominster Priory celebrating Anglo-Saxon and Viking history in Herefordshire, this free performance on Thursday 18 June brings the story of the Herefordshire Hoard to life through puppets, dance and song.
Created with local schools and artists, What Is Your Treasure? explores ideas of treasure, memory and what we value – connecting local young people with the stories and objects at the heart of the exhibition.
The wider Vikings at the Priory programme includes exhibitions, walks, talks, concerts, craft workshops, family activities and Viking re-enactment – offering something for all ages to explore and enjoy.
