A Wibsey funeral home is inviting the community to come together for a summer garden party.
On Tuesday 16th June, from 11am-1.30pm, Co-op Funeralcare Holdsworth on 99 St. Helena Road is inviting locals for a special event marking the reopening of its memorial garden.
The memorial garden has been thoughtfully designed as a peaceful and welcoming place for quiet reflection and remembrance, offering a calm space for the community.
On the day, guests can relax in the revamped garden while enjoying food and refreshments. Visitors will also have the opportunity to speak with the Holdsworth funeralcare team to learn more about the services available to support those going through difficult times.
Guests will also have the opportunity to purchase a memorial plaque, which can be placed within the garden as a lasting tribute to loved ones.
Anne-Marie Rawlinson, Funeral Director at Co-op Funeralcare Holdsworth, said: “We are delighted to be welcoming the Wibsey community to celebrate the relaunch of our memorial garden.
“Everyone remembers their loved ones in their own way, and we hope this garden offers a calm, welcoming space for reflection and quiet moments of connection. For anyone going through a difficult time, the garden is available, and our team is always here to offer a listening ear and signpost support available.
“We’re really looking forward to welcoming the community for what promises to be an enjoyable afternoon. We’re keeping our fingers crossed that the sunshine makes an appearance too!”
The branch offers a range of services to support families going through difficult times. This includes the option to scatter ashes in the memorial garden and hire the on-site service chapel for private moments of reflection with loved ones.
