The Hop Jive Club Record Hop
The Hop Jive Club is a well established R'n'R club that has been going for over 35 years. The Club originally launched in Farnham Surrey back in the late 80'searly 90's. In 2001 Jan and Tony launched 'The Jive Shack, a rock'n'roll club that some of the circuits top R'n'R bands around at the time. It also saw the introduction of Top Rocking DJ Tony Mascaponi the clubs resident DJ who played some fantastic R'n'R geats, Rockabilly and Doo Wop sounds at each of the clubs gigs.
The Hop Jive Club is relaunching, after a short closure with a fantastic Vintage Record Hop. Come along, bring a friend, bring the family, it's only a fiver on the door, bring your own refreshments or grab a cuppa, there is no charge for tea or coffee.
It will be an evening of vintage and retro Rock'n'Roll, Doo Wop, Rockabilly, Country Rock and some Bluesy Rock, played by the clubs resident DJ, Tony Mascaponi. It promises to be a great evening. Admission is £5.00 which can be paid on the door.
