Jimmy Blackwood presents his highly recommneded talk RAF Photo Reconnaissance (or Recce!) in World War 2 on the evening of Friday 3rd July at 7:30 p.m. One of the illustrated talks he regularly gives to raise money for The St. Elizabeth Hospice.
Jimmy states that: There can be no doubt that photographic reconnaissance was a key contributor to the overall intelligence picture throughout the Second World War.
The old saying that a picture is worth a thousand words was never more truly demonstrated.
The camera pictures only what is there, omits nothing, provides a record which can be easily duplicated and supplies a means of recording the truth.
