Celebrate 20 years of The Urban Birder with a very special guided walk led by David Lindo himself.
David is an award-winning broadcaster, writer and naturalist, and one of the UK’s most influential voices in wildlife. A passionate advocate for connecting people with nature, he is a regular contributor to The RSPB Magazine.
To mark two decades since his first appearance on Springwatch, David is hosting a limited series of small, intimate birding experiences across the UK - and this is your chance to be part of it. Join David for a relaxed and insightful day exploring the reserve, with a group of no more than 20 participants. As you explore together, David will share his expert knowledge, fieldcraft tips and personal stories from 20 years at the forefront of urban birding. This is a rare opportunity to experience the reserve through the eyes of one of the UK’s most recognisable birders, whether you’re a seasoned enthusiast or just starting your wildlife journey.
Know before you go
Booking is essential as places are strictly limited to ensure a high-quality experience. Please arrive 10 minutes before the start time. All wildlife is wild and sightings cannot be guaranteed. However, David will do his utmost to help you spot and enjoy a wide variety of species.
Entry to the reserve is included in the ticket price for non-members.
Attendees must be aged 12+.Please note This event is part of a special anniversary series and is expected to be popular. Early booking is strongly advised to avoid disappointment.
