If you are wanting to find a choir you'll find just what you were looking for with us in the Dorking Rock Choir.
The Dorking Rock Choir is led by vocal teacher Samantha Smith. Over the past few years Rock Choir has entered British people's hearts with its unique mix of en-masse singing, fundraising, television appearances, and commitment to community singing in towns like Dorking. With performances at prestigious national venues such as 158 metres up the BT tower in London and sporting events such as Sport Relief, you too can have the opportunity to be a singing star!
We sing in Dorking every week during term time. You can join the choir by going to rockchoir.com or you can also book a FREE singing taster session to try it beforehand. If you feel you're not ready to join a choir yet, why not check out our choir events page at rockchoir.com? There you can come along to see what we're all about - local people bringing the local Dorking community together through something as simple as joining a choir.
Here is a quote about our choir - 'I am a Rock Choir member and love my weekly 90 minutes of singing and smiling with so many people and also the addictive 'high' that it leaves me with. Caroline Redman Lusher and her team have created something very, very special.' - Kate (Rock Choir Member)
Rock Choir is a winner of the Red Ribbon 'Big Heart' Award. and holds 1 former and 2 current Guinness World Records. The choir is also credited with single handedly starting the contemporary choir movement.
