Willow’s campaign to become class president has landed her in trouble with the bullies at school. After a playground bump to the head, she wakes up lost… in 1913, face to face with Suffragette, Emily Davison. With over a century of history and women’s rights between their worlds, there’s a lot they have to discuss, and it’s far from plain sailing. With a dose of healthy debate and accepting that you can’t change the past, Willow must discover the confidence to use her voice for change, in her own unique way. Polka presents a brand-new production, celebrating female voices of the past and present and the importance of standing up for your beliefs.
