Full-Day Guided Mountain Bike Adventure from Salisbury
Join your personal guide, Steve, on an unforgettable mountain bike adventure through the wild landscapes and ancient history of Wiltshire.
Starting on the outskirts of the medieval city of Salisbury, beneath the soaring 123-metre spire of Salisbury Cathedral, we'll ride scenic trails along the old cattle drove to Salisbury Racecourse. Expect flowing singletrack, rolling chalk downland, and panoramic views across the beautiful Cranborne Chase.
From there, we venture into the ancient Grovely Woods on the Wilton Estate, where spring brings spectacular carpets of bluebells. After a fun woodland descent, we reach the charming village of Great Wishford before climbing onto the vast open landscapes of Salisbury Plain.
Riding across the Plain, we pass the Bronze Age burial mound of Bush Barrow before our first unforgettable view of the iconic Stonehenge, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here we'll stop for photos and take a moment to appreciate one of the world's most remarkable Neolithic monuments.
