Stonehouse Walking Festival - Gloucestershire
We are looking forward to welcoming you to our 7th festival from 4-13th September 2026. We will once again be celebrating the wide range of scenic walks possible around the Stonehouse area, also showcasing some walks having added specialised interest. The Festival offers free, guided group walks, including: level field and woodland footpaths, gently rolling fields, scenic views, across the Cotswolds and Severn Vale, canal, river and rail trails, walks for restricted mobility, family fun walk, history walk, tree walks, picnics, pub and cafe stops.
Stonehouse town is an ideal base for exploring the Cotswold National Landscape
(formerly AONB).
The town of Stonehouse sits alongside the Stroudwater canal and the Cotswold Way. It
won Best Small Town in Britain last year in the RHS Britain In Bloom Competition. It
also has a Community Arboretum plan and manages an ever-diverse collection of
interesting trees. All walks easily accessible from M5 J13
