Get ready for a day packed with heart-pounding excitement. From meeting our crew and seeing our helicopters up close, to lifesaving demos, live music, delicious street food, funfair rides, and our Mini Medic Mission for young adventurers – there’s something for everyone at our Family Fun Day.
Bring your friends and family along for an unforgettable experience! But this isn’t just a day out – it’s a unique chance to meet the people who save lives in your community. Kids can learn, explore, and play, while families see first hand how their support truly helps save lives.
Enjoy a range of products being sold by local stalls attending from the surrounding community. If you have a stall and would like to attend please contact events@aakss.org.uk.
Meet our crew and see our helicopter up close (if they’re not called to an emergency) or get a chance to sit in our rapid response vehicle.
Sing along to the local Rock Choir, enjoy a performance from Old School Samba Band, see a Birds of Prey demonstration and meet K-Pop Demon Hunters!
Watch CPR and defibrillator demos and pick up vital skills that could save a life.
With funfair rides, bouncy castles, face painting, meet and greets and a craft corner, there’s plenty to keep the kids entertained! Plus see how you can get involved with our Mini Medic Mission.

Young lifesavers will:
Tackle exciting obstacles
Learn vital skills like CPR
Earn a Mini Medic Medal after completing their mission!
Receive a mission letter and sponsorship form
Suitable for children aged 4–10 years.
