Cherubini Requiem, plus some choral favourites
The Requiem in C minor by Luigi Cherubini is a gem of a piece, yet it is rarely performed these days. Gratis Choir is delighted to be bringing this beautiful music to our audience in Winnersh. We will be joined by our friends in the Kennet String Quartet who, together with our own pianist, will enhance our performance and bring this rarely performed masterpiece to life.
We will also sing four favourite short choral pieces and the String Quartet will perform an instrumental piece to complete the programme.
