Gruffalo Granny Exclusive Storytime at Battersea Park Children's Zoo
Be among the first in the country to hear Gruffalo Granny, the new Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler picture book, read aloud, with two storytime sessions on Friday 11th September 2026:
11:30am – Little Explorers Session
4:00pm – After-School Session
Both sessions are included with standard zoo admission, and free for members.
Extra highlights:
- The book goes on sale in the gift shop from 10th September (limited stock)
- Grannies visit free on 11th September - just ask at the admissions desk
- Life-size Gruffalo Granny cutout for photos around the zoo
