Heritage Open Day: Not Listed All Saints Church, Gurnard, was completed in 1893 as the village of Gurnard began to grow. Built mainly from local materials, the church reflects the Victorian Gothic revival, with a design inspired by thirteenth-century church architecture. Its interior includes a pitch-pine timber roof supported by large A-frame timbers, an octagonal stone font, original choir stalls, an oak pulpit, a brass lectern and stained glass behind the altar. Outside, the church grounds include a Garden of Remembrance and the Garden Room, which is used for parish and community activities and has views over the Jordan Valley. The timber spire, around 8.5 metres tall, remains a recognisable feature of the local landscape.
