Heritage Open Day: A display of the High Street Book Group books in our local bookshop from 2020 to the present day. Look through our eclectic choices and recommendations for a 'good read' as some will be on sale! The High Street Book Group started in Lockdown bringing together a group of local people to share good books and good company. We have been meeting (mostly) once a month since that time and so have got through a lot of books..... We started reading books that had a theme of the sea and/or Lowestoft/Suffolk but have branched out since then.
The Moral Of The Story Bookshop (132 High Street) will host a display of most of the books that we have read and what we thought about each - some of our recommendations will be on sale as well as details about joining the book group and other book groups around the town.
