St Botolph's Church, Burton Hastings with Stretton Baskerville
Heritage Open Day: This little church of medieval origins in a picturesque village has links with the Nuneaton nuns. There are 20th and 21st century changes including the addition of a 6th bell. Connect to both ancient roots and living faith. Take part in a treasure hunt to discover some of the older features of the church. See the additions to this peaceful old church which bring it into the 21st Century. There will be a slide show of pictures of village life including some characters who lived there all their lives.
In addition to a special art exhibition showing works by local artists, there will be a demonstration of stained glass making presented by an artist who lives in the village.
