Heritage Open Day: St Jude's Church is delighted to invite you to step inside the doors of the grade II listed building for Heritage Open Day 2026. Heritage Open Day offers the opportunity to come inside the doors of this grade II listed landmark building. St Jude's sits on the corner of Savile Park Moor in Halifax and will be open on Saturday 19th September between 1000 and 1400. The Church serves the local community of Savile Park, providing worship and spiritual growth.
The Church was designed by Mr W. Swinden Barber of Halifax, and the design of the 85ft tower was exhibited at the Royal Academy. The building was consecrated on the 13th of November 1890. Come and find out more about Swinden Barber the architect and other notable people connected with the building.
