Discover Stirchley History & Heritage at Stirchley Baths Community Centre
Heritage Open Day: Photographs, information and lightening talks centered on the heritage of Stirchley in Grade 2 listed Stirchley Baths - no swimming! Come and take a look inside Grade 2 listed Stirchley Baths which has been a well-loved part of the Stirchley community for over 100 years. A swimming baths was first proposed in 1903 and the building was opened in 1911.
Tours of the Baths will be available, bookable on the day.
We will be commemorating the building reopening as a Community Centre in January 2016.
Learn more about the rich history and heritage of Stirchley as it rose from being a hamlet to a suburb of Birmingham.
