Heritage Open Day: Stourbridge Quaker Meeting House is one of the few remaining 17th century Quaker Meeting Houses in the country and one of the oldest buildings in Stourbridge that our HOD visitors will learn about. Stourbridge Quaker Meeting House is a Grade II Listed building built in 1689, and has remained in continuous use for Quaker Meetings and Gatherings ever since. It has undergone many restorations and additions such as the wheelchair accessible toilet, the lobby and kitchen area and a Children's Room, to continue serving its original purpose, since 2023 Silver Eco Church certificated!
Our visitors are welcome to explore it, or just sit and enjoy its peaceful atmosphere inside, or outside in our beautiful rewilded garden which used to be a Quaker burial ground.
