Highlights of the day: the Sigurd Cross: See the remarkable Sigurd Cross, a unique and imposing stone cross in the churchyard. Its carvings combine Viking and Christian imagery and depict scenes form the legend of Sigurd the Dragon Slayer, making it one of the most significant monuments of its kind.
