Heritage Open Day: Join us at St Gregory's Church, Crakehall on Saturday 19th September 2026 12-4pm to explore and celebrate the history of our church, village and people of our beautiful corner of North Yorkshire through photographs, displays, art and voices. Enjoy a warm welcome to St Gregory's, part of the Benefice of Lower Wensleydale. Go on a personal pilgrimage through an exhibition of photographs from across the ages, discover the history of local landmarks such as Crakehall watermill, our Cricket Club and village school from the displays and take the opportunity to hear the recollections of local people recorded for this event.
