A Grade II listed Jacobean church (1611) built on Saxon ruins with a Victorian extension (1875) and a contemporary extension (2004) within a conservation area with a Manor House next door. Ancient fields and the Hogsmill River nearby. Connections with Walter de Merton and Merton College Oxford, with his coat of arms in a heraldic window with 1611 glass.
