St Mary de Crypt Church

Heritage Open Day: General opening St Mary de Crypt Explore one of the most ancient churches in Gloucester and the Tudor schoolrooms. Discover stories from Gloucester’s past: Raikes, Whitfield, Jemmy Wood and more.

There are no set tours but stewards will be on duty to point out some of the key features of interest and answer your questions so do come and look around this lovely church They will also tell you about the wall paintings recently discovered in The Sanctuary. Please note that only the Bones and Bells Tours require booking. Entry to the church is free but donations are very welcome.
Please note there will be the weekly Ukulele group rehearsal 11.00-12.30 and a regular Service of Prayers for the City on Friday 11th from 13.00-13.30 to which you are very welcome.
