Threads of Home, Memory and Heritage - A Living Ukrainian Home Installation

Heritage Open Day: Step inside a traditional Ukrainian home through an immersive installation exploring women’s heritage, handmade textiles and everyday family life preserved through generations of craft and memory. “Threads of Home, Memory and Heritage” is an intimate immersive installation inspired by the atmosphere of a traditional Ukrainian home, created using family heritage objects passed down through generations of women.

Initiated by artist Yaroslava Demutska with the support of Ukraine Appeal and developed in collaboration with members of the local Ukrainian community, the project explores memory, domestic culture and women’s invisible contribution to preserving heritage.
