Heritage Open Day: The Swing Riots of 1830 took this area completely by surprise. Come and explore what happened and how it all ended in a special travelling exhibition at Havant Library In November 1830, men from over the border in Warblington crossed into Hampshire and over a twelve hour period smashed up and destroyed nine threshing machines on farms right across the eastern part of what is now the Borough of Havant.
