Chedham's Yard - Restoration Village
Heritage Open Day: Chedham's Yard is a well preserved example of traditional craft at the heart of the agricultural economy of centuries past at the heart of historic Wellesbourne. Traditionally at the heart of the agricultural economy Chedham's Yard has been a creative space for 200 years. This year we are celebrating 20 years since winning the BBC Restoration Village competition. The tools, wheels and equipment crafted for the local farming community can be seen in a carefully restored forge, workshops and garden. Visitors will have the opportunity to see our traditional forge in operation. Interact with the volunteers operating the hand bellows and beating metal on the anvil, using the skills and techniques passed down from generation to generation.
