Liskeard Unlocked - St Martin's Church 800 years of Christian Worship

Heritage Open Day: Come and explore St Martin’s Church, see the history behind the building and how it has been a place of Christian worship for over 800 years. Come and explore this ancient building and see parts normally hidden away. Discover how St Martin’s church building has been altered and changed over time. There will also be children’s activities that will help them explore the building.

You will be able to go up the church tower and see Liskeard as you’ve never seen it before! Our bell ringing team will be demonstrating their art during the day and there will be opportunity for the public to have a go at ringing one of the bells!
At various points during the day our organist will be playing the organ and you will be able to see the inner workings of the organ.
There is so much more to see in the church building!
