Heritage Open Day: Have you ever walked by the church on Boothtown Road and wondered what was inside, but not had the opportunity (or felt brave enough) to step inside our 119-year-old building? Now is the opportunity to satisfy your curiosity! As part of Heritage Open Days we are opening our lovely chapel on Yorkshire Churches Day, 12th September 2026! Come and explore our history and treasures.
Come along and learn about the history of the congregation! The current church building was opened in 1907 but has been significantly altered and modernised and now offers a multi-purpose area, together with our hall.
Boothtown United Methodist Church (as it was then known) owes its origin to the Reform movement of 1849/50.
