Swanland - a walk from the Heritage Centre
Heritage Open Day: A guided walk around Swanland village. A walk around the centre of Swanland, starting from the Institute (Heritage Centre) and covering part of the Swanland Heritage Trail. A number of historic buildings will be seen, with information provided about their past owners and how, in some cases, their function and appearance has changed over the years. Several Listed Buildings including Mere House and Mere Cottage, the former Post Office, West End Cottages (the oldest buildings in the village) and Christ Church will be described on the walk.
