Heritage Open Day: This medieval church closed in 1978 . In the 21st century it has once again become the centre of the community. During our Heritage Open Days this year we want to highlight the changes in community life around the church through maps, photographs and written histories. From the times before the arrival of Pilkingtons Glassworks through the development of the Garden Village to the modern 21st century housing development visit us to see what and whom you remember and add to our collection with your own stories.
