Capturing Old Shoreham – Everyday Histories in the Landscape

Heritage Open Day: A community exhibition exploring Old Shoreham as a living landscape where nature, history and community are inseparable — created through maps, artwork, photography, textiles, soundscape and research by local volunteers, artists, historians, schools Old Shoreham has been shaped by thousands of years of everyday life. People have crossed the River Adur, farmed the Downs, walked ancient paths, worshipped, worked and made their homes here. Much of that story is written into today's landscape—and is still being written.
Rather than telling a single story, the exhibition invites visitors to become explorers.
