St Margaret of Antioch Church – early Norman church architecture at its best.
Heritage Open Day: St Margaret’s Church is the largest and best preserved Norman church in Canterbury Diocese. This unusual example of an aisled early Norman church has fine arches, exquisite carvings and plentiful examples of medieval graffiti. The church will be open from 10am to 4pm (11.30am to 4pm on a Sunday) for you to come and explore at your own pace. Information will be available to help inform your visit and to take away with you.
