Heritage Open Day: An exhibition of life in a rural village during World War II. Rationing, blackout, make do and mend. This is an exhibition with static displays of life in the very rural village of Fishlake during World War II. This event can be combined with the walk around the village of Fishlake. The exhibition includes recollections from Fishlake villagers who, as children, can remember some of the privations which had to be endured during this time and also information on rationing, restrictions and other issues which affected daily life in this period
