British Oak Centenary Celebrations
Heritage Open Day: Join us to celebrate 100 years since the opening of our Grade 2 Listed public house with many original features. We will be celebrating a hundred years since the current building opened by highlighting the heritage aspects of the building which are very much still evident. Also see the changes in the way the building has been used over time. Ladies you may spend time in the Gentlemen’s Smoking Room – but no, you’re not allowed to smoke!
At 1pm there will be a special 100 pint giveaway – 100 pints available for the price of a pint in 1926.
The pub has a proud history of providing musical entertainment for the community and we will continue this with live music from 4pm.
