JAZZ ELEVENSES AT MANOR BARN
Stolen Moments Trio return to Manor Barn on 18th October 2026 with guest trombonist Jeff Williams for an elevenses performance celebrating the music of Duke Ellington. Expect an intimate morning of jazz featuring three musicians and a special guest bringing together their distinctive takes on one of jazz's greatest composers.Jeff Williams, trombone and vocalsJeff is a top-of-the-tree professional trombonist based in London. An extremely versatile musician equally at home in big bands and small groups and in every style from Dixieland and Trad Jazz to Swing and Be Bop, he has a residency in Soho's Spice of Life jazz venue with The Uptown Five, which he co-leads with his long time associate, tenorist Al Nicholls.Jeff has played and recorded with a host of bands, many under his own leadership (notably The Mississippi Swamp Dogs), and as a freelance sideman with some of London's top outfits such as Blue Harlem, Ray Gelato, The Puppini Sisters and many more. We are so excited to have him play in a tribute to the music of Duke Ellington with Stolen Moments Trio at The Manor Barn. He is a true jazz entertainer and too good to miss!
