Winchelsea’s Secret Gardens - Open Garden
Winchelsea is a beautiful medieval town, founded in 1288 by Edward I. Notable buildings incl the splendid C14 church and Court Hall. It is one of the few surviving C13 English towns where the streets are laid out in a grid system. Because of this, the gardens are hidden behind old walls.
Combined adm £5, Children free. Times:12-5. Open for charity.
